Three Distinct Pathways for Growth

We offer psychotherapy, counseling, and coaching. Each service supports growth in meaningful ways, but they differ in depth, direction, and scope. Choosing the right approach depends on your current needs and goals.

  • Psychotherapy is a licensed mental health service designed to treat emotional distress and longstanding patterns that impact well-being and relationships.

    This work often includes:

    • Processing trauma or unresolved emotional experiences

    • Exploring attachment patterns and early relational dynamics

    • Addressing anxiety, depression, grief, or burnout

    • Strengthening nervous system regulation

    • Repairing relational wounds and building secure connection

Psychotherapy may involve diagnosis when clinically appropriate and is protected by therapist–client confidentiality laws. It is depth-oriented and focused on healing, integration, and meaningful emotional change.

If you feel persistently overwhelmed, stuck in repeating relational patterns, or impacted by past experiences, psychotherapy may be the appropriate starting point.

  • Counselingis also a licensed mental health service, but is often more present-focused and supportive in nature.

    Counseling typically centers on:

    • Navigating life transitions

    • Managing stress and role strain

    • Strengthening coping skills

    • Improving communication and boundaries

    • Clarifying decisions during challenging seasons

While counseling may touch on past experiences, the emphasis is on stabilizing the present and building practical tools for resilience and emotional steadiness.

Counseling is well-suited for individuals facing situational stressors who want structured support and insight without engaging in deeper trauma work.

  • Coaching is a professional development service designed for individuals who are functioning well and seeking clarity, alignment, and forward momentum.

    Coaching often focuses on:

    • Leadership growth and executive presence

    • Career transitions and strategic decision-making

    • Accountability and behavioral change

    • Values-based alignment

    • Sustainable performance and energy management

Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. While personal patterns may be discussed, the focus remains future-oriented and action-driven.

Coaching is particularly effective for high-functioning professionals seeking expansion, alignment, and intentional growth.

    • Psychotherapy addresses healing and emotional integration.

    • Counseling supports present stability and skill-building.

    • Coaching mobilizes growth and forward movement.

    • Psychotherapy may explore how the past shapes your present.

    • Counseling helps you navigate what is happening now.

    • Coaching focuses on where you are going next.

Psychotherapy and counseling are healthcare services.

Coaching is a professional development service.

All three are collaborative and relational. The difference lies in depth, focus, and clinical scope.

  • If you are unsure which pathway best aligns with your goals, we can discuss this during an initial consultation. In some cases, individuals begin with psychotherapy and later transition to counseling or coaching once deeper emotional work has stabilized.

These services are not provided simultaneously, as they operate within distinct professional frameworks. My role is to help you determine the most appropriate structure for meaningful and sustainable growth.
